About Us

The Petroleum Exploration Project is the sole authority for exploration and promotion activities related to oil and gas resources in Nepal. Currently, exploration work is focused on 10 exploration blocks located in the southern part of Nepal, including the areas of Siwalik, Chure, and the Lesser Himalaya.
